HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS: Problems from the book will be assigned weekly, solutions will be posted on the web page and discussed in the discussion/problem section. Homeworks will not be graded.
MIDTERMS: There will be three in-class `midterms' (closed-book) on dates (tentatively) Friday Oct. 15th, Monday Nov. 8th, Monday Nov. 29th.
FINAL: Wed 8am-10:59 am, Center Hall 222.
COURSE GRADE will be computed from the average of the 3 midterms (50%) and the (closed book) final exam (50%).
