1) Reminder: NO QUIZ THIS FRIDAY.
2) Professor Sinha will hold a special help session in Mayer Hall 4681 on Tuesday of Finals Week from 1 PM to 3 PM.
3) There will be a discussion/problem session during Finals Week at the usual place and time (i.e. Wednesday morning 8 AM to 8:50 AM in Pepper Canyon Hall 122). Change in venue or time will be posted if there is any.
4) The Final Exam will consist of 10 Multiple Choice problems + 2 problems which will be graded. Please bring blank sheets of paper or a blue book (in addition to red scantrons) to write your answers of these 2 problems.
All other rules for the regular Quizzes apply, including use of your 3-digit ID numbers, required use of red scantrons, allowed one cheat sheet (both sides), and no text books or devices with wireless connections allowed.

1) Internal inconsistencies in the formulation of the problem was noticed for Problem 1 (as per Version A) of Quiz 4 involving a block and a rough incline at an angle of 30 degree, which could
have misled students. Thus this problem will not be graded.
2) Professor Sinha has decided he will not skip Chapter 10 after all, so
lectures, homework problems and next week's Quiz will cover both Chapters
10 AND 11 (of course only including material covered in class).
4) Lecture 7 and Homework 5 uploaded.
3) Professor Sinha will be out of town next Tuesday. Lecture will be given
by Professor Hirsch.
